This was fun to paint, because the sky had to be done all at once and then the water had to be done all at once after the sky was dry. I had to get the colors mixed up in little pots, put on some music, and GO! It made me feel a little like Mickey Mouse conducting in The Sorcerer's Apprentice in the movie Fantasia, where the pots of water get dumped faster and faster and you're just on the border of "out of control." Funny that that process can end with a peaceful and serene painting!
